Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident A hit-and-run accident resulted in the death of a bicyclist in Myrtle Beach on February 2, 2016. 54-year-old Laurence Flanegan struck the bicyclist with his Toyota SUV on Holmestown Road, fleeing the scene. The bicyclist, who was identified as 55-year-old Vincent Gimeno, was transported to Grand Strand Medical Center following the accident, but died from traumatic injuries resulting from the crash.
