Car Accident Injures Nine People in Georgetown

An automobile accident that occurred in Georgetown, South Carolina resulted in nine individuals being transported to various hospitals, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on the evening of January 16^th and involved seven vehicles, resulting in a complete shutdown of Browns Ferry Road.

Two individuals were transported by helicopter to Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, while the remaining seven were transported via ambulance to Grand Strand Medical Center and Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. There were no fatalities in the accident, but there is currently no further update on the patients’ medical conditions.
