To date, GM has recalled more than 9.4 million cars due to faulty ignition switches. The defective product causes the key to move from the “on” position to the “off” position resulting in:
- Stalling in Operation
- Loss of Brakes
- Loss of Power Steering
- Failure of the Airbags
- Failure of the restraint system and seat belts
